RMU(Ring Main Unit)

LT Service Boxes

The LT Service Box is designed for reliable and secure electrical power distribution, meeting international standards such as IEC 61439 and IEC 60529 to ensure high quality and safety. It is made with heavy-duty mild steel (MS) construction and powder-coated for enhanced corrosion resistance. The box supports high-performance capacity with a voltage of 415V, frequency of 50Hz, and current rating up to 400A. It is equipped with advanced safety features like IP54 protection against dust and water, HRC fuse holders, MCBs for enhanced circuit protection, and a secure double-door system with anti-tampering locks. For ease of use, it offers pole and wall mounting options, cable glands for neat wiring, and transparent polycarbonate windows for easy meter reading. This box is ideal for residential, commercial, and industrial applications, making it a comprehensive solution for efficient power distribution.

Meter Security Boxes

The Meter Security Box, as per specification DDS-58:2001, is built for 3-phase, 4-wire CT operated metering systems used in LT commercial and industrial environments. Constructed from high-grade 16mm steel for the body and 2.3mm steel for the door, it ensures strong physical protection. The size ranges from 600×350×1000mm and includes a lockable front door for added security. It is suitable for both wall and floor mounting, indoor or outdoor. The box is waterproof, ventilated, and features a rigid welded structure with earthing provision for safety. It is painted with three coats including zinc chromate and synthetic resin in light beige. The internal bus bars are made of 99.9% electrolytic copper (based on CT ratio), and it undergoes strict testing such as visual inspection, dimension checks, and galvanizing tests. The box is clearly marked with voltage, CT ratio, serial number, manufacturer name, and year. For safe transportation, it is packed in a wooden frame with polythene cover.
