At Skypower, we understand the value of innovation and has built a dedicated R&D center to support new ideas, better products, and contribute to Pakistan’s industrial growth. By focusing on R&D, we aim to help for building a stronger and more self-reliant future for the country. Our R&D team helps to improve the product quality, reduce dependency on imported technologies and introduce modern solutions.
Dedicated Area for R&D at Skypower:
Skypower has developed a well-planned and dedicated Research and Development facility to promote innovation and hands-on experimentation. The R&D center has two fully equipped floors. The ground floor having covered area of 10,000 ft² which is used for heavy machinery and mechanical work. The first floor having covered area of 5,000 ft² which is designed for advanced research labs focused on electrical, electronics and automation-based products development. This space shows Skypower’s strong commitment to combining creativity with practical technology.
Skilled and Qualified R&D Staff:
Our R&D department is led by a talented and well-qualified team with a mix of technical skills and real-world experience. The team includes 2 professionals with master’s degrees, 9 graduate engineers & other multiple technocrats. This diverse team works together to turn ideas into working solutions. Their combined knowledge ensures every development is well-tested, reliable, and meets industry standards.
State-of-the-Art Facilities and Advanced Tools:
To support product development and testing, the R&D center is equipped with a wide range of modern machines and tools. These include CNC laser cutting, CNC laser welding, CNC milling, CNC lathe, CNC hydraulic press brake bending and injection molding machines, oscilloscopes, soldering stations, AC/DC variable power supplies, Hipot testers & Lightning impulse voltage system. In addition to hardware, we also use advanced software like SolidWorks for 3D design, AutoCAD for 2D drawings, Altium Designer for circuit and PCB design, and tools for automation such as PLC programming and servo system setup. These resources help us design, build, and test products all in one place, with accuracy and efficiency
Inauguration of R&D Center by Chairman of PEC:
A proud moment for Skypower was when the Chairman of the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) Engr. Najeeb Haroon officially inaugurated our R&D center in 31st January 2024. His presence and recognition highlighted the importance of our efforts and confirmed the quality and professionalism of our facility. This milestone not only honors our work but also motivates us to continue driving innovation in the engineering field of Pakistan.
